3. RBI Assistant LPT Shortlist 2026

Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the result PDF have been provisionally shortlisted for the Language Proficiency Test.
The office-wise PDF begins with the Ahmedabad Office list and continues through the various RBI offices. For example, the Ahmedabad list is provided on page 1, Bengaluru on page 2 and Bhopal on page 3.
Candidates should search for their roll number in the PDF to check their shortlisting status.

4. RBI Assistant Language Proficiency Test 2026

The LPT is a qualifying test. According to the RBI result notice, only candidates who qualify in the Language Proficiency Test will be considered for appointment in the Bank.

The shortlisting is provisional and remains subject to:

  • Qualifying the Language Proficiency Test.
  • Being found medically fit.
  • Verification of age and educational qualification.
  • Verification of category/caste certificates, wherever applicable.
  • Submission of other required documents.
  • Submission of relieving letter from the previous employer, wherever applicable.

6. Submission of Documents

Candidates are instructed to complete the relevant proformas and send them along with copies of the required certificates to the Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department of the respective RBI Regional Office.
The documents should reach the concerned Regional Office within 10 days from the date of publication/declaration of the result.

8. RBI Assistant Result 2026 – Marks & Cut-Off

RBI has stated that the individual marksheets and category-wise/region-wise cut-off for the Main Examination will be displayed interactively on the Bank's website shortly.
Therefore, candidates should check the RBI website for the marksheet and cut-off information once published.

9. RBI Assistant Result 2026 – What Next?

The selection process now moves to the Language Proficiency Test (LPT) for provisionally shortlisted candidates.

Candidates should:

  1. Check their roll number in the LPT shortlist.
  2. Arrange the required certificates and documents.
  3. Complete the prescribed forms/proformas.
  4. Send the documents to their concerned RBI Regional Office within the specified period.
  5. Appear for the Language Proficiency Test as instructed by RBI.
  6. Complete the remaining pre-recruitment formalities, including medical fitness and document verification.
The RBI notice specifically advises shortlisted candidates to contact the Regional Office for which they applied regarding pre-recruitment formalities and LPT.

10. RBI Assistant Result 2026 – Important Note

The shortlist is provisional, not a final appointment list. Candidates must satisfy the LPT, medical fitness and document/eligibility requirements before appointment.
RBI has also stated that the result for the Kanpur/Lucknow Recruitment Office will be declared shortly.
