The post is classified as Group 'B', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial and carries Pay Level-7 (₹44,900–₹1,42,400). Eligible officers working under the Central Government can apply through the proper channel. The appointment will initially be made for 3 years, extendable up to a maximum period of 7 years, subject to the applicable rules.

5. Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Candidates : Officers under the Central Government

Candidates should satisfy either of the following service conditions:

  • Option 1 : Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department.
  • Option 2 : Having 5 years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Pay Level-6 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
  • Required Qualification / Experience
  • Candidates must possess any one of the following:
  • Qualification 1 : A pass in the Subordinate Accounts Services or equivalent examination conducted by the Accounts Departments of the Central Government.
  • Qualification 2 : Successful completion of training in Cash and Accounts Work in ISTM or equivalent.
  • Qualification 3 : 5 years' experience in Cash, Accounts and Budget work.

  • Copies of APARs
  • Certificate from the Employer
  • Other documents specified in the advertisement

Candidates may also send an advance copy of their application to SSC before the last date, but the application must subsequently reach SSC through proper channel. Conditional forwarding of applications or applications received without the required documents and Employer's Certificate will be rejected.
