Overview

The India finance team manages stewardship, controls, reporting, tax compliance and decision support across the region. You’ll touch AR/AP, revenue & expense accounting, cross-charges, reconciliations, budgeting/forecasting, banking ops, and dissemination of management information while operating within a strong control framework.

Your Job — What You’ll Do

  • Assist timely month-end close under US GAAP with complete & accurate financials.
  • Support Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, revenue recognition and expense accounting.
  • Conduct fixed assets physical verification and prepare FA reconciliations (US GAAP vs Indian GAAP; system reports).
  • Prepare/own account reconciliations and monthly analysis; document processes and controls.
  • Coordinate with Financial Shared Services and support FP&A information requests.
  • Identify and help implement process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Assist statutory/tax audits, schedules, queries, and timely board/authority filings.

Qualifications

  • Functional: Accounting principles; basics of direct & indirect tax (Income Tax, GST, TDS); Excel proficiency; ERP (Oracle 11i/R12, Hyperion or similar) preferred.
  • Soft skills: Organized, logical, analytical, process-oriented; strong communication; ownership & timelines.
  • Preferred: CA Inter seeking Industrial Training (≥1 year internship at an audit firm).
  • Work model: General shift; Hybrid — 4 days in office, 1 WFH.
