As a Software Engineer – Systems (Platform), you’ll develop core components of Nasuni’s NAS appliance platform, work on Linux systems code and help build the infrastructure that powers AI-ready enterprise storage.

• Help develop and maintain components of Nasuni’s NAS appliance platform.
• Assist in writing and debugging Linux systems code using C, C++, Python and Bash.
• Work with senior engineers to investigate and resolve customer-reported issues.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews and daily standups.
• Write automated tests and contribute to build/release workflows.
• Contribute to building resilient infrastructure software used in enterprise environments.

Nasuni is looking for an engineer who is early in their career but eager to grow within a highly skilled platform team. You enjoy working close to the operating system, solving tricky production issues and building robust systems.

• Have good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Are comfortable reading and writing systems-level code on Linux.
• Are willing to learn about hypervisors, cloud platforms and appliance development.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate well with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Want to build a long-term career in systems and infrastructure engineering.

• Required Skills & Experience:
• 1–4 years of experience in systems or infrastructure software development.
• Familiarity with Linux systems programming using C, C++, Python and Bash.
• Basic understanding of OS internals: processes, memory, filesystems and networking.
• Good problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bonus / Preferred Skills:
• Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins or other CI/CD systems.
• Knowledge of Linux packaging systems (rpm/yum).
• Interest in open-source contributions or kernel development.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
• Education:
• BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics and Communications, or MCA.
• 1–4 years’ previous industry experience in the system/platform area.
