Job Description — Overview & Responsibilities

About the Job: Join Razorpay’s IT team focusing on IT Asset Management (ITAM), procurement, compliance and lifecycle governance across hardware & software assets in collaboration with Central Procurement & Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Asset Tracking & Inventory: Maintain detailed inventory for IT hardware & software (location, status, ownership).
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee procurement-to-retirement lifecycle incl. warranties, maintenance schedules, disposals.
  • Software License Mgmt: Ensure license compliance & optimize utilization to avoid over/under-spend.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Adhere to security standards & policies; conduct regular audits.
  • Procurement & Disposal: Coordinate with procurement for acquisition and EOL decommissioning.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT, Product, Engineering, Business, Finance, Procurement teams.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain specs/config/usage records; generate periodic reports.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and maximize asset value.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve hardware/software issues related to IT assets; support end-users.
