5. Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army TES 57

Candidates must satisfy the nationality, age, educational and other eligibility conditions specified in the official notification.

6. 1. Nationality

The notification permits eligible candidates who fall under the specified nationality categories, including:
  • Citizens of India
  • Subjects of Nepal
  • Eligible persons of Indian origin who migrated from the countries listed in the notification with the intention of permanently settling in India
Candidates in the applicable non-Indian categories must meet the prescribed certificate-of-eligibility requirements. Nepalese Gorkha candidates are exempt from that certificate requirement as specified in the notification.

The date of birth recorded in the Class 10 or equivalent certificate is accepted for determining age. Candidates should check their date of birth carefully before applying.

Candidates must meet both of the following requirements:
  • Have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized education board with at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
  • Have appeared in JEE Main 2026.
The PCM percentage must be calculated using Class 12 marks. Candidates must enter the actual PCM percentage up to two decimal places without rounding it off.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this entry.
